Will There Be a Season 3 of Young, Famous & African Renewed or Canceled Status?

With Netflix dropping the second season of this reality show in May 2023, it seems they have not yet decided whether or not to renew for a third run.

The show follows a group of young, famous media personalities in Johannesburg looking for new work and opportunities while juggling their personal lives and relationships. This is the first Netflix reality show released by the streaming platform from South Africa.

The show was renewed for a second season by Netflix, so they obviously felt that there was mileage in the premise, but often with this kind of content, the shine can rub off quite quickly.

If you are a fan, there are a couple of new faces in season two. Look for Bonana Matheba, a Media Personality often known as Queen B, Ghanaian musician, Fantana, and Namibian TV producer and entrepreneur, Luis Munana.

The show is not performing too well on IMDB, and at the time of writing, it had a score of 4.9/10, and there are a few scathing articles about the show in the reviews, but that does not necessarily mean that the show will not be renewed.
