Just a few days ago, it was announced that Disney will begin removing over 60 titles from Disney+ and Hulustarting next week.
Marvel’s MPower was originally slated for removal from Disney+, but Deadline has recently reported that the documentary will stay on the streaming service following a reassessment by Disney of the content set to be taken down.
Disney has seen significant backlash and has started reversing some of the removals such as Howard, Pixar’s A Spark Story, and Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever.
Deadline quotes a Disney representative as saying The list of titles coming off of Hulu and Disney+ next week is still being finalized. This suggests there may be more adjustments over the coming days regarding what stays and what goes on Disney+.

The removals, which come with a content impairment charge of $1.5 billion to $1.8 billion, were announced during the recent Disney earnings call on May 10.
We are in the process of reviewing the content on our DTC services to align with the strategic changes in our approach to content curation, CFO Christine McCarthy said.
While this is positive news, especially considering MPower was only just released a few months back, it might still be a good idea to watch this one sooner rather than later if you haven’t already. It’s possible that the title could still be removed in the future.
MPower spotlights several of the MCU’s most inspirational women heroes. Every hero has an epic origin story and so does this series, said Executive Producer Justin W. Hochberg.

Today, that vision is now a reality thanks to Brie Larsen, Elizabeth Olsen, the women of Wakanda and Zo Salda, whose leadership was Mpowering.
