Jaleel White, a former cast member of Family Matters, was rumored to have signed on to a Star Wars project last year; as of right now, the actor has confirmed that he will be featured in the upcoming Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.
White made the announcement while watching an NHL game involving the Edmonton Oilers and stopping by the Sportsnet broadcast table for a quick interview. @zjlaing tweeted the interview, in which White stated:
Oh wow, I m actually gonna be on a new series on Disney+ starring Jude Law called Skeleton Crew So that s a big change for me, man. I had to do two hours of makeup every day. I get to be a pirate.
Additionally, White stated that the show would debut on Disney+ in November or December.
Director Jon Watts and author Chris Ford are the creators and executive producers of Skeleton Crew, which stars Jude Law.
In Skeleton Crew, four children travel from their ostensibly safe home planet to a strange and perilous galaxy after making a remarkable discovery. It will be a bigger journey than they could have ever dreamed to find their way home and encounter unusual allies and opponents.

Law, Cabot-Conyers, Radi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Kerry Condon are the cast members of the show.
Along with Favreau, Filoni, Kennedy, and Wilson, Jon Watts and Christopher Ford are the showrunners and executive producers of the project. Beck and Gilchrist work together as co-executive producers. Producers Susan McNamara and John Bartnicki.

The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert), Watts, Ford, Jake Schreier, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Lee Isaac Chung are among the directors.
Filming on Skeleton Crew is complete, and a late 2023 Disney+ release is anticipated.
