White Men Can t Jump, the brand-new comedy from 20th Century Studios, had its world premiere this week, and Disney celebrated by hosting a spectacular red-carpet celebration at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre. On May 19, the brand-new comedy will be available for streaming in the UK, Canada, Australia, and many more nations exclusively on Hulu and Disney+ under the Star banner.
The 1992 movie’s current remix honors Los Angeles’s streetball hustler culture. Sinqua Walls portrays Kamal, a once-promising athlete whose injuries ended his career, and multi-platinum rap icon Jack Harlow makes his acting debut as Jeremy, another former star of the game whose own career was also wrecked by injuries.
The two ballers opposites who appear to be poles apart are juggling shaky relationships, financial constraints, and significant internal challenges until they discover they may have more in common than they initially thought.
